About the Role
A Salesforce Administrator is needed to manage, optimize, and scale Carbon6’s Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on more than just administration—it involves process automation, data integrity, system governance, and strategic enhancements to support sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
By working closely with stakeholders across the business, this position will translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring efficient workflows, clean data, and seamless system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration & Configuration
- Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and access controls.
- Oversee data architecture and system scalability, ensuring Salesforce aligns with business needs.
- Design and implement schemas that accurately model business operations.
- Administer third-party integrations and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
Workflow Automation & Process Optimization
- Build and optimize Flows, Apex code, approval processes, and assignment rules.
- Identify and implement underutilized Salesforce features to enhance efficiency.
- Continuously assess and improve system performance and automation.
Data Integrity & Governance
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency through validation rules and proactive maintenance.
- Develop and enforce best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
- Design and implement reporting dashboards that provide real-time insights for decision-making.
Change Management & Adoption
- Lead Salesforce training and enablement efforts to ensure team adoption.
- Document and communicate process updates, system changes, and new feature rollouts.
- Manage sandbox environments, testing, and deployment cycles to ensure seamless releases.
Business Strategy & Problem-Solving
- Engage with stakeholders to uncover root challenges and develop effective Salesforce solutions.
- Align Salesforce enhancements with business objectives and revenue growth initiatives.
- Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring Salesforce drives efficiency across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience with expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (required). Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder is a plus.
- Strong experience with Flows, validation rules, and automation strategies.
- Proficiency in Apex, workflows, and CPQ implementation.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and security best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Ability to drive adoption, manage system changes, and align Salesforce with company goals.
- Experience managing sandbox environments, testing, and deployments.
Preferred Skills
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ, Platform App Builder).
- Experience working with eCommerce, sales, and marketing teams.
- Knowledge of revenue operations and full-cycle business processes.
