About the Role

This position is open at Junior, Consultant, or Senior levels and requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in relevant areas. As a Salesforce Functional Consultant, the role involves bridging business and technical teams, translating business needs into effective Salesforce solutions while adhering to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
  • Design and configure Salesforce solutions to align with business objectives and best practices.
  • Advise stakeholders on Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
  • Configure Salesforce features, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes.
  • Conduct user training and create end-user documentation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and features.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
  • Experience in full project lifecycle implementation.
  • Proven success in delivering Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Additional Advantages

  • Certifications in Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud.
  • Experience with B Corporations, social enterprises, NGOs, or nonprofits.
  • Fluency in Te Reo Māori and knowledge of tikanga practices.
  • Experience with New Zealand’s bicultural environment.
  • Expertise in industry-specific Salesforce clouds (Nonprofit, Education, Health, etc.).
  • Knowledge of integration technologies, data migration tools, and programming languages like JavaScript or Apex.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Asana).
