About the Role

This position supports the Product Owner of the Patient Case Squad by translating business needs into actionable stories for the product backlog and managing maintenance activities for the Salesforce CRM system used by the Commercial organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce experience and a strong background in the MedTech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the build team.
  • Develop use cases, write and manage user stories, create visualizations, and map process flows.
  • Provide functional insights on how requirements may be implemented and contribute to improving user experience.
  • Maintain a backlog that stays 2-3 sprints ahead, ensuring each feature has a clear definition of done and is ready to enter sprint development.
  • Communicate project vision to developers and testers, assist with writing UAT scripts, and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed.
  • Document confirmed business processes for reference by development and IT support teams.
  • Apply business process improvement methods to optimize workflows.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Analyst to align backlog priorities with business and group needs.
  • Track metrics and create reports to measure progress.
  • Manage dependencies with other squads, collaborating with Product Owners, peer Analysts, and the Product Manager.

Technical and System Expertise:

  • Understand the portfolio of IT systems in use, with specialization in certain applications as needed.
  • Support and facilitate system demonstrations through workshops.
  • Contribute to process improvements for maintenance activities, including estimation, prioritization, and Agile adoption.
  • Keep track of ongoing projects within the squad, ensuring maintenance tasks align with related initiatives where applicable.

Industry and Functional Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of standard business practices, technology applications, and industry principles.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into a clear product vision, leveraging expertise in product development, engineering, and UX.
  • High-level understanding of business processes and digital product delivery.
  • Ability to manage a product backlog, track team-level metrics, attend product team ceremonies, and resolve blockers.
  • Experience developing systems and tools to enhance customer interactions and collaboration.

Salesforce Expertise:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, with a strong grasp of system limitations.
  • Ability to conceptualize high-level solution designs and provide initial effort estimates based on minimal business requirements.
  • Skilled in managing expectations with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and Salesforce capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
