About the Role
The Application Developer II will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role spans all project lifecycle phases including prototyping, research, planning, development, testing, debugging, and documentation under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, debug, test, and maintain Salesforce code.
- Modify and enhance existing programs while understanding system interfaces.
- Document code changes and assist users in procedure development.
- Analyze system solutions and support ongoing operations.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- At least 2 years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging, with minimum 1 year in an application development role.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is recommended.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Lightning App Development, Apex (triggers, REST API, asynchronous), SOQL, Lightning Flow, data management, platform events, and integrations.
- Experience with Copado and AMPscript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret business impact.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting and collaborating.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, adaptability, and innovation mindset.
- Ability to analyze documentation and perform practical mathematical calculations.
- Team-oriented with a focus on knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
