About the Role

The CRM Application Engineer will oversee the Salesforce platform, designing and enhancing its architecture to meet data-driven business goals. This includes maintaining system performance, reliability, and integrations with other platforms. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop a complete customer view and ensure consistent data flow and visibility across internal systems. The successful candidate will have deep experience in Salesforce development, a strong understanding of system integrations, and the ability to create scalable, well-documented solutions that align with security and data governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Architect and maintain scalable CRM solutions aligned with business goals
  • Implement complex workflows using Salesforce Flow
  • Integrate Salesforce with internal tools and external platforms via REST APIs and Apex services
  • Collaborate with developers and integration specialists to deliver unified customer data
  • Support enterprise architecture initiatives, focusing on data consistency and security
  • Drive system-wide changes such as data model optimization and platform configuration updates
  • Contribute to DevOps processes using GitHub, SFDX, and CI/CD tools
  • Translate business needs into practical technical designs and documentation

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development
  • Proven background in building and maintaining complex CRM architectures
  • Deep knowledge of platform limitations, access controls, and sharing configurations
  • Demonstrated success in delivering Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud solutions
  • Experience embedding external content using Lightning App Builder and LWC
  • Proficiency in integrating with other systems via APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, SnapLogic)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js) for customer-focused integrations
  • Strong grasp of data compliance, including GDPR and CCPA
  • Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to product-driven CRM strategies

Certifications Preferred

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder, Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
  • System or Application Architect
  • Marketing Cloud or CPQ certifications

Additional Knowledge (a plus)

  • Salesforce CPQ and Agentforce
  • Data Cloud and MDM tools
  • Customer journey analytics platforms
