About the Role
As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll take full ownership of assigned projects and change requests across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. You’ll handle requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, approvals, and deployment — all aligned with our DevOps framework, which you’ll oversee. You’ll also maintain platform health, manage integrations (e.g., with Netsuite, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Google), and collaborate with external partners as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of change requests and projects from start to finish, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- Evaluate technical effort and deliver changes using declarative tools or custom code.
- Manage AppExchange app installations and maintenance.
- Follow agreed testing and approval processes for all changes.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary, providing clear requirements and managing through to deployment.
- Lead and manage the DevOps process, offering guidance to team members.
- Build a strong understanding of business processes and technical configurations.
- Monitor Salesforce releases, assess new capabilities, and prepare the org accordingly.
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and enhance system value.
- Evaluate third-party app upgrades and implement plans accordingly.
- Continuously explore innovative ways to maximise Salesforce and integration value.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong skills in SOQL, Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience using debugging tools and writing test classes.
- Salesforce certifications required:
- Administrator
- Advanced Administrator
- Platform App Builder
- Platform Developer I
- Experience with Netsuite preferred.
- DevOps experience (2+ years) essential.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and AppExchange apps.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience using Einstein / Agentforce is a plus.
