Anout the Role
Joining Odaseva means working alongside highly experienced professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem. Odaseva is looking for a skilled and client-focused Technical Architect with deep Salesforce expertise and a passion for large-scale data solutions. This role offers the chance to design, deliver, and implement advanced solutions while also mentoring teammates. Based in San Francisco, this position reports to the VP of Expert Services. The Technical Architect supports the sales team by shaping solutions and guiding delivery, either through direct implementation or strategic advice. This role plays a significant part in driving company revenue by customizing technology and services to solve complex customer challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver solutions: Create and implement advanced data management and security solutions for enterprise Salesforce customers, including strategies for large-scale data handling, migrations, backup, recovery, and archiving.
- Sales and pre-sales support: Act as a technical partner during the sales process, aligning technology and services with client needs, and contributing to proposals, success plans, and statements of work.
- Technical leadership: Advise both customers and internal teams on architectural decisions and long-term strategies, whether as a coach or hands-on contributor.
- Customer communication: Understand customer problems and clearly communicate solutions, building strong relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Problem-solving and innovation: Transform complex requirements into actionable, best-practice configurations, address product limitations, and coordinate between customers and internal teams.
- Mentorship: Guide and support team members across regions, helping the product team better understand customer priorities.
- Continuous growth: Stay current with technical advancements and contribute to evolving processes and best practices.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across sales, customer success, and solutions engineering.
Skills and experience
- 8+ years in software development, with strong experience as a Technical Architect or Lead Architect.
- Certified Salesforce Technical Architect, with expertise in APIs, data models, metadata architecture, and Salesforce security.
- Background in large-scale data management, migrations, backup, recovery, and archiving within Salesforce (preferred and highly valuable).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams, including executive stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-driven approach with a strong sense of accountability.
- Strong problem-solving and solution design abilities for diverse enterprise scenarios.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams, and a desire to help others grow.
- Experience working in regulated environments (such as GDPR, HIPAA, DORA) is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
