About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the Salesforce platform. This role ensures that Salesforce solutions align with company objectives and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate will manage both production and sandbox environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system functionality to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage Salesforce environments, including configuring profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, custom objects, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, approvals, dashboards, and reports.
- Administer Salesforce add-ons such as High Velocity Sales, Knowledge, and Chat to enhance platform capabilities.
- Maintain strict data security by enforcing access controls and monitoring compliance with information security policies.
- Optimize Salesforce configurations to maximize system uptime, response times, and data accuracy.
- Perform trend analyses to identify improvement opportunities and reduce case volumes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related technical issues with root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes for user onboarding, security audits, system monitoring, and reporting.
- Provide user support, documentation, and training to ensure effective platform utilization.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce administration and platform configuration.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex Salesforce issues across application, database, network, and integration layers.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop clear documentation and user guidance.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator credential preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce add-ons including High Velocity Sales, Knowledge, and Chat.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience supporting small or mid-sized business environments is a plus.
