About the Role
Cognism is looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive new business growth within the DACH mid-market segment. This hybrid role is key to expanding Cognism’s footprint across the region and involves full-cycle sales responsibilities—from prospecting to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined mid-market territory and create go-to-market plans to secure new business
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from outreach to demos and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve client outcomes
- Help shape Cognism’s regional go-to-market strategy through feedback and market insights
- Provide accurate forecasting and maintain a well-managed sales pipeline
- Actively contribute to team learning, coaching culture, and process improvement
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role with strong performance history
- Confidence in presenting to stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong discovery skills and ability to align product value with customer needs
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities
- Organized and accountable with a clear approach to managing sales activities
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach or SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, and Gong is a plus
