About the Role
nCino, a global leader in cloud-based banking solutions, is looking for an experienced Principal Technical Architect – Salesforce to support complex integrations and lead technical efforts across key client engagements. This role focuses on implementing the nCino platform in large financial institutions and collaborating closely with implementation consultants and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement integration patterns using nCino-supported languages both within Salesforce and in external systems.
- Guide and support financial institutions and consulting teams on integration tasks using the nCino Integration Framework.
- Co-lead third-party system integrations, selecting appropriate methods and tools based on each project’s specifics.
- Create documentation to support development, integration processes, and testing workflows.
- Translate technical requirements into structured implementation plans.
- Evaluate external vendor APIs and technical specifications.
- Contribute to solution development involving Salesforce, including design, development, integration, and deployment.
- Participate in technical pre-sales activities when required.
- Maintain accurate time tracking and billing for client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6 years with an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in designing and implementing integration architecture and user interface components.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Dev401 and development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps processes and modern software development workflows.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with RDBMS technologies, SQL, and data management.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and integration platforms.
- Prior work in the financial services sector, especially within Salesforce environments.
- Experience with Salesforce development tools including the IDE, Migration Tool, and Web Services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large financial institutions and enterprise-level systems.
- Background in loan origination and servicing systems.
- Familiarity with tools like Informatica, Cast Iron, and SnapLogic.
- Advanced Salesforce certifications, including System Architect.
- Programming experience with Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, and object-oriented languages such as Java, Ruby, or C#.
- Strong communication and client engagement skills.
- Ability to travel if needed.
