About the Role

As Associate, Salesforce Administration, you’ll help maintain and enhance Salesforce tools that support over 5,000 users across the student, advisor, and staff communities. This role sits within the Tech Team and reports to the Senior Director of Technology, collaborating closely with the Learning Team and other departments to improve user experiences, learning tools, and internal systems. Ideal for someone with 1–2 years of Salesforce experience, this role offers the opportunity to build user-centered systems that support student growth and staff efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Management

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and settings across various Salesforce apps
  • Build and modify custom fields, flows, and layouts to meet organizational needs
  • Enhance the student-facing Experience Cloud portal, ensuring accessibility and usability
  • Create dashboards and reports that drive data-informed decision-making

Learning Management System (Appinium)

  • Support the setup of learning content, events, automation, and achievement tracking
  • Partner with the Learning Team to improve Appinium-based onboarding and courses
  • Analyze user engagement and course completion data to improve learning outcomes
  • Prioritize clarity, ease of use, and accessibility in all learning content

Support & Training

  • Respond to tech support requests related to Salesforce, Appinium, and tools like Mogli and Campaign Monitor
  • Create user guides and training resources for both students and staff
  • Lead training sessions to onboard and upskill users in Salesforce tools and workflows

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years of Salesforce experience (internships and part-time roles count)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communication skills and a user-centered mindset
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within Salesforce administration
  • Passion for improving learning and access through technology
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with online programs or communities
  • Familiarity with LMS tools, especially Appinium
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (or interest in earning it)
