About the Role
This position serves as a technical system administrator, reporting to the IT team and working closely with Marketing to manage and enhance the Salesforce ecosystem. Key responsibilities include overseeing technical configurations, integrations, platform security, and system administration while collaborating with Marketing to align Salesforce capabilities with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical system administrator for the Salesforce platform.
- Manage configurations, security settings, roles, and permission sets.
- Design scalable solutions to meet complex business requirements.
- Handle integration architecture and data flows across systems.
- Oversee system upgrades, releases, and technical deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security and best practices for the platform.
- Maintain and manage sandbox environments and technical documentation.
- Execute complex data migrations and ETL operations.
- Provide oversight for AppExchange implementations and monitor system performance.
Collaborative Responsibilities
- Collaborate on requirements gathering and solution design.
- Support marketing automation tools and configurations.
- Assist with data quality initiatives and governance efforts.
- Provide technical input for business process enhancements.
- Define and support user access and security roles.
- Participate in release management and change communication processes.
- Contribute technical insights to training materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with Salesforce certification highly preferred.
- Experience with Mulesoft, Field Service, and Agentforce is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with Data Cloud, CPQ, Community Cloud, and Pardot is a significant advantage.
Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes while promoting user adoption.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in building custom apps, objects, formula fields, workflows, and other configurations.
- A track record of successfully managing and completing projects.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
- Willingness to expand responsibilities over time.
