About the Role

Clearwater is searching for a Salesforce Administrator to enhance and optimize our Salesforce Health Cloud system. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering feedback, designing scalable solutions, and maintaining our Salesforce ecosystem to ensure the best user experience. This is a hands-on role requiring deep knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and ideally Health Cloud and Vlocity Insurance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify areas for improvement, utilize underused features, and understand both the current setup and business objectives. The Salesforce Administrator will manage user support tickets, training, and system changes, focusing on user satisfaction. This role will report directly to the Systems Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Salesforce administration.
  • Manage user and license configurations, including user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing rules.
  • Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and dashboards.
  • Have a basic understanding of triggers and Apex code.
  • Manage sandbox environments, DevOps, and release processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with a focus on improving user experience and leveraging platform features.
  • Assist in creating a platform roadmap, defining priorities, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Communicate platform changes to users and stakeholders effectively.
  • Manage data quality, including implementing automation and rules for data management.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, such as Security Reviews, Release Updates, and Health Checks.
  • Handle user support tickets, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Improve user adoption, provide ongoing training, and create technical documentation.
  • Manage third-party integrations such as DocuSign, ProProfs, Hubspot, and Celigo.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for out-of-hours incidents.

Required Certifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builder are a plus.

Key Competencies:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with in-depth knowledge of Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. Experience with Health Cloud & Vlocity Insurance is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Apex troubleshooting, Git, SOQL, and SQL.
  • Experience handling HIPAA/PHI cloud data.
  • Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of change management and governance practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience in training users and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration changes.
  • Experience with DevOps and release management (GitHub, change set management).
  • Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
