About the Role

Denver Botanic Gardens is hiring a full-time Salesforce Administrator to join its Innovation & Technology team. This role is crucial for the continued development, support, and enhancement of the Gardens’ Salesforce CRM. Responsibilities include managing daily system operations, configuring and maintaining Salesforce features, providing user support, and collaborating with teams to improve business processes. The position also acts as a technical project manager and business analyst, ensuring Salesforce effectively supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main Salesforce administrator and manage system configuration and user support.
  • Integrate third-party applications and maintain API connections.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, deduplication, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Create and update custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Conduct end-user training and provide responsive support.
  • Develop documentation and communicate system updates and best practices.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through reporting and analytics.
  • Oversee testing, deployment, and post-launch optimizations.
  • Maintain compliance with privacy and security standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience required.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, preferably in nonprofits.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Nonprofit Cloud certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
