About the Role
MaintainX is seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance the Salesforce platform, supporting key business functions across sales, marketing, and customer service. This role will play a pivotal part in maintaining data integrity, enabling automation, and ensuring operational scalability. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and experienced in Salesforce CPQ and commission systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and optimize Salesforce to support evolving sales, marketing, and support processes
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and automation using Flows and Process Builder
- Manage user roles, permission sets, and access controls to maintain security and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve user support requests; manage support tickets
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the business
- Lead documentation efforts and provide internal user training and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and GTM partners on strategic initiatives
- Ensure data cleanliness through validation rules and regular hygiene processes
- Support and refine Salesforce CPQ and commissions processes
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator role
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) and/or Advanced Admin Certification preferred
- Expertise with Salesforce Lightning, Flows, formula fields, and rollups
- Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ and commission software (required)
- Skilled in Excel and Salesforce data management best practices
- Familiarity with automation tools and integration frameworks
- Experience using Jira or similar sprint/project management tools
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
