About the Role

MaintainX is seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance the Salesforce platform, supporting key business functions across sales, marketing, and customer service. This role will play a pivotal part in maintaining data integrity, enabling automation, and ensuring operational scalability. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and experienced in Salesforce CPQ and commission systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and optimize Salesforce to support evolving sales, marketing, and support processes
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and automation using Flows and Process Builder
  • Manage user roles, permission sets, and access controls to maintain security and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user support requests; manage support tickets
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the business
  • Lead documentation efforts and provide internal user training and support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and GTM partners on strategic initiatives
  • Ensure data cleanliness through validation rules and regular hygiene processes
  • Support and refine Salesforce CPQ and commissions processes

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator role
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) and/or Advanced Admin Certification preferred
  • Expertise with Salesforce Lightning, Flows, formula fields, and rollups
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ and commission software (required)
  • Skilled in Excel and Salesforce data management best practices
  • Familiarity with automation tools and integration frameworks
  • Experience using Jira or similar sprint/project management tools
  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
