About the Role
This Salesforce Administrator role combines high-level strategic planning with hands-on platform management. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud while supporting teams company-wide. The position requires technical expertise, business acumen, and a forward-thinking mindset with a strong focus on automation, AI, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Strategy & Architecture
- Translate business goals into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Act as a solution architect across cross-functional projects
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven tools and platform enhancements
Platform Management
- Administer user roles, licenses, profiles, and permissions
- Perform routine data audits, de-duplication, and security compliance
- Maintain a healthy Salesforce environment aligned with governance policies
Configuration & Customization
- Build automation using Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, and approval processes
- Design dashboards and reports with Salesforce CRM Analytics (Einstein)
- Integrate third-party apps via tools like MuleSoft, Conga, or Boomi
Process Optimization & AI Enablement
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and automate business processes
- Explore AI capabilities like Einstein, predictive analytics, and GPT-powered tools
- Promote a data-first, automation-forward culture across teams
User Training & Support
- Serve as a platform expert for internal users
- Lead onboarding and training sessions
- Document system changes, best practices, and training materials
Governance & Compliance
- Manage change control and release processes
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date technical and process documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of Salesforce administration in a mid-to-large scale organization (SaaS preferred)
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Admin a plus)
- Proficient in Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
- Strong experience in declarative development (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules)
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Data management experience using Data Loader and Excel connectors
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Experience with AI/ML tools within Salesforce (Einstein, GPT integration)
- Working knowledge of middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi) and CPQ platforms
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
