About the Role
Potter is hiring a Salesforce Administrator to manage and enhance the Salesforce platform used across the organization. This role involves maintaining data quality, customizing workflows, overseeing user access, supporting third-party integrations, and driving system improvements. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders across teams and contribute to optimizing how Salesforce supports daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the Salesforce platform for optimal performance and user experience
- Manage roles, profiles, and access controls
- Create and maintain dashboards, custom reports, and automation processes
- Implement system improvements based on cross-team feedback and business needs
- Manage AppExchange tools and external integrations
- Conduct data imports, exports, and updates using tools like Salesforce Data Loader
- Train and support users to promote effective system usage
- Audit and clean data regularly to maintain accuracy and consistency
- Keep current on Salesforce updates and best practices
- Partner with IT and business units to align Salesforce functionality with company goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related area (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience; manufacturing experience is a plus
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) required; Advanced Admin certification preferred
- Experience managing third-party tools and integrations
- Strong skills in process automation, security settings, reporting, and data handling
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable working independently and in team environments
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud
- Understanding of Apex, Visualforce, SOQL
- Background with ERP or manufacturing system integrations
- Experience using marketing platforms such as Pardot or Marketing Cloud
