About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and continuously improving the Salesforce platform to align with business objectives. Key areas of focus include configuration, data integrity, user support, and process automation. This role plays a central part in ensuring the platform functions as a reliable, secure, and scalable tool for business enablement. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day operations of Salesforce, including user management and security settings
- Monitor system performance and gather user feedback to inform enhancements
- Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and enforce validation rules
- Implement best practices in data integrity, quality, and platform security
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deploy CRM enhancements
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, record types, workflows, and page layouts
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported platform issues promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation on configurations and process flows
- Deliver training and platform support to end-users
- Participate in testing, deployment, and release documentation
- Stay current with Salesforce and Health Cloud updates; recommend and apply new functionality
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Salesforce automation tools, including Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AppExchange solutions and third-party integrations preferred
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and CRM Analytics
Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM 211) required
- 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud or Health Cloud Accredited Professional preferred
- MuleSoft experience is a plus
- Additional certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Business Analyst) preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Remote-first organization; work performed from home or in a professional office setting
- Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility in working hours to support teams across U.S. time zones
