About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst manages and improves Salesforce and its related integrations to support operational scale and efficiency. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on technical work, ensuring that system configurations align with evolving business needs. The analyst also oversees dashboards and reporting tools that inform key decisions across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into actionable technical items.
  • Configure Salesforce to support business workflows and improve performance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of how Salesforce data influences automation and reporting.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and coordinate release schedules for updates.
  • Offer support on system architecture, integrations, and enhancements across teams.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience with complex Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Apollo.io, Marketo, Salesforce CPQ, Tableau, or CRMA.
  • Solid grasp of Salesforce object schema and ability to use SOQL for data queries.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data analysis and imports.
  • Analytical approach to identifying system gaps and resolving user pain points.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FedRamp or Salesforce Government Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Event Monitoring.
  • Background in fast-scaling startups.
  • Ability to manage time and resource expectations with multiple stakeholders.
