About the Role

The Salesforce Database Administrator will oversee the day-to-day management of the Salesforce platform, ensuring that it aligns with business needs. This role involves collaborating with business executives and users to configure and develop new solutions, optimizing the Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering Salesforce, creating and maintaining workflows, validation rules, triggers, and approval processes.
  • Customizing standard objects and page layouts, as well as creating custom objects, fields, and record types.
  • Developing reports and dashboards, assisting users with report design and management.
  • Creating and delivering training materials and user-training sessions.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity, including managing imports/exports, de-duplication, and data clean-up using DataLoader.
  • Researching and implementing business solutions via AppExchange, alongside providing end-user training and software documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Salesforce platform on a day-to-day basis, focusing on user engagement and adoption.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and IT, to meet business requirements.
  • Manage user setup and permissions, including creating users, profiles, roles, and custom fields.
  • Maintain and create custom reports, dashboards, and campaigns as required.
  • Audit and resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
  • Assist in project planning, including estimates and tasks for database activities.
  • Provide strategic consulting on best practices and CRM application use.
  • Monitor user licensing and manage sales team setup.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Strong data visualization skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Associate Administrator.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development and Scrum.
  • Certified Administrator (ADM-201).
  • ITIL certification.
