About the Role
A Texas-based financial institution is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business operations. This role involves working with stakeholders to enhance system functionality, ensure data integrity, and optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development: Build custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs to align with business objectives.
- System Administration: Manage user access, security settings, data integrity, and system configurations.
- Integration & Data Migration: Connect Salesforce with external systems via APIs, middleware, and data migration tools. Maintain data consistency across platforms.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Standards & Best Practices: Follow coding standards, security protocols, and Salesforce development best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently.
- Testing & Optimization: Validate code quality and performance in a test environment before deploying updates.
- Ongoing Learning: Stay up to date with Salesforce updates, releases, and industry trends. Participate in relevant training and certification programs.
- User Training: Develop and conduct training sessions to help users maximize Salesforce functionality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industry Experience: 3-5 years in financial services (banking preferred) with direct experience performing the responsibilities listed above.
- Salesforce Development Expertise: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Administration Knowledge: Strong grasp of user management, security settings, and data handling within Salesforce.
- Integration & Data Migration: Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems and executing data migrations.
- Process Automation: Ability to optimize workflows using tools like Flow and Process Builder.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Communication Skills: Ability to document requirements and work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce Platform Developer certification is preferred.
