About the Role
GovDocs is looking for a Salesforce Developer with hands-on development experience and a strong understanding of the platform’s technical aspects. This role involves supporting and enhancing the company’s Salesforce environment, shaping how internal business systems deliver value. A successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a technical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Systems team to understand technical requirements and implement solutions that align with best practices for performance, security, and functionality.
- Develop key components, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Improve internal tools and processes by applying well-structured design principles and decision-making strategies.
- Assist with setting objectives, strategies, and initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Provide ongoing support for Salesforce and related applications, addressing system needs and user requests.
- Manage Salesforce applications, including B2B webstore, Pardot Marketing, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud, along with integrated third-party business tools.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom configurations, objects, and new Salesforce modules based on evolving business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce updates, troubleshoot system issues, and support integrations.
- Document workflows, technical solutions, and training materials while ensuring information remains current.
Qualifications
Required:
- Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
- At least 3 years of experience developing applications on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, Visualforce, and custom objects.
- Experience with Sales and Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce administrative tasks, including user roles, permissions, custom fields, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Ability to assess problems, recommend solutions, and execute effectively.
- Strong business awareness and understanding of operational needs.
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Additional Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with e-commerce applications.
- Project management, system implementation, and system integration experience.
