About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Information Systems team at a pivotal moment—right after launching our brand-new Salesforce instance. This is your opportunity to build and scale the foundation of our Salesforce ecosystem as we enter our next phase of growth. You’ll own the technical design, development, and continuous enhancement of solutions across Sales and Service Cloud. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll translate business needs into scalable, user-centric Salesforce solutions. You’ll be a key player in defining architecture, governance, and best practices that will shape the future of our CRM platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and development of custom Salesforce applications, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other Salesforce developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration points with external systems.
  • Architect and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Manage and optimize integrations with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools.
  • Continuously optimize, enhance, and maintain the Salesforce environment, including performance tuning and scalability improvements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate on task prioritization.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases, platform innovations, and industry trends, applying relevant updates to enhance system functionality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL).
  • Expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and custom development.
  • Solid experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce deployment processes (change sets, Salesforce CLI).
  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a Salesforce environment.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Benefits

  • 401k Match: 200% match up to the first 5% of salary (total match up to 10%).
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision: 99% of premiums covered for team members and dependents.
  • Other Benefits:
    • FSA/HSA.
    • Fertility benefits.
    • Parental leave.
    • PTO & Volunteer leave.
    • Charitable donation matching.
    • Tuition reimbursement.
    • Gym membership reimbursement.
    • Internet stipend.
    • Pet insurance.
