About the Role
London South Bank University (LSBU) is seeking to fill the role of Salesforce Trainer and Administrator within the IT Services Department. This position presents an exciting opportunity to significantly influence how Salesforce is utilized across the university. The successful candidate will support various departments in maximizing the potential of the Salesforce platform, combining technical expertise with a focus on communication and user engagement. This role provides ample opportunities for personal and professional development, from hands-on admin duties to delivering training and collaborating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure Salesforce across departments to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Provide training and support for users at all levels, ensuring they gain full value from the platform.
- Manage core administrative tasks such as user access, permissions, data security, and system configurations.
- Build and maintain relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support change management efforts, facilitating smooth transitions and ongoing improvements.
- Communicate technical details clearly to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
Requirements
- Significant experience administering Salesforce, including user management and system configuration.
- Proven ability to conduct training and provide effective support to a wide range of users.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Confidence in managing administrative tasks and resolving system issues.
- A collaborative and solutions-driven approach when working with various teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience with Boomi, Azure, or similar integration/cloud technologies is a plus.
