About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce System Administrator to join the Research Funding team on a permanent basis. This role will play a key part in managing and optimizing our Salesforce Funding & Relationships Platform, ensuring it supports Wellcome’s organizational needs and promotes business transformation. You’ll focus on grant funding functionality, data reporting, and data accuracy across Wellcome’s funding portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the technical lead to develop system architecture and ensure reliable data models and reporting
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce applications, focusing on grant funding functionality, and manage user accounts and security settings
  • Customize objects and work on custom solutions and integrations to improve system functionality
  • Work with subject matter experts and external partners to capture user needs and identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Develop and maintain grant funding reports and dashboards for stakeholders
  • Lead data audits and cleansing activities to maintain data accuracy
  • Manage Salesforce projects, gathering requirements, contributing to platform roadmaps, and providing training and documentation
  • Contribute to Wellcome’s mission and values, adapting to changes as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification and deep knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Service Cloud and Lightning Experience
  • Proven project management experience, especially with Agile methodology
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships in a collaborative, matrix team environment
  • Interest in Wellcome’s mission and ability to adapt to evolving priorities
