About the Role
A Salesforce Technical Architect is needed to design, develop, and refine a Salesforce ecosystem. This position requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Design: Establish a high-performing, secure Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and various integrations (Plaid, Fiserv, Marketing Cloud).
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers, administrators, and integration teams.
- Solution Implementation: Lead the development of complex Salesforce configurations, custom Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and API-based integrations.
- Collaboration: Work with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Data & Security Governance: Apply best practices for data architecture, security, and compliance.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve system performance issues while refining development practices.
- Integration & Automation: Design integrations with external systems to support efficient data flow and process automation.
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain detailed technical documentation and enforce development standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce architecture, development, and administration experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.
- Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with middleware solutions such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading Salesforce implementations, migrations, and enhancements.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA) preferred; Application/System Architect, Platform Developer II certifications are a plus.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Salesforce DX.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in a Scrum team environment.
